2.This capacitor is C26. It is difficult to find value 100 mkF, so you can replace it with 22..47 mkF 16 V.

С26 по схеме это керамический 106 1206
С28 это электролитический 100мкф 16V

Я этот обозначенный на плате красным на схеме тоже найти не смог. По виду 107 1206.

@Aspock, what you say is true. At first I also thought that C26 was the one next to C28, but indeed, due to size 1206 it is more correct that it is the one indicated by Grim. But if so, who one is attached to C28 with format 0805?.

I have already soldered the FTDI, STM32 and AD9826 and de basic for tray the board.

Seeing the result I do not know if it is working well or there is something wrong. I have noticed that the board gets quite hot especially D11. The 6V voltages of D9 and D11 are generated well and the 3.3V of both D8 and D12 are also generated well. Do you want to give me some comment or some check before continuing with the rest of the assembly?.

Edit: The board is powered by a 12Vdc / 5A power supply.

The current consumption of the camera should be approximately 200 mA. When reading-up to 300mA. Set the gain offset value to 0. After power off/on again, this values should be saved. Connect the DS18B20 sensor. The temperature should be displayed

It was the gain offset, now it works well. The values are maintained after the off / on and there is also a temperature reading. I will continue with the assembly.

If you allow me a question girm, why did you decide to go from Delphi to C #? I am a programmer and I know both, in terms of performance I do not think you have noticed great improvements, in my experience one should keep what is comfortable. Thanks grim.

After more than a month waiting for the long-awaited CDX 1267 from China, I share the photos of the camera already fully assembled. At the moment I have mounted the C3 capacitor in its original position, I will change it over time.




The first tests with a 50mm hand-held say that the camera works. As you can see ?


 Should I do some other test?.

Edit: Unlike the previous times I have had to set the gain to 0 because with -1 now the image came out completely black. What is the function of gain and offset parameters and what is the recommended range of values?

Regarding the adjustment of the gain and offset, I do not know if it is for the translation and I do not know if I have done the process well, the process I have followed is:

1-Gain: With the sensor illuminated evenly, fixed iso and 0.1sec exposure time, I adjusted the gain so that the maximum value is close to 65535. But I don't know what you mean by "equalize histogram channels".
2-Offset: With the sensor covered, fixed iso and 0.1sec exposure time, I adjust the offset so that the histogram is as close as possible to the left axis.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

I have another question regarding refrigeration. I am thinking of using a TEC2-19003 peltier module or a TEC1-12703 at 12Vdc together with a 12Vdc heatsink and fan. What I have not seen is how to handle these elements. On the PCB there is an output arranged for this purpose that comes directly from the STM32 so it would be necessary to add some control element, what type of elements are you using to do this, a mosfet or another type? I would appreciate any suggestion.

Yes, MOSFET. IRLI3705NPBF, IRF7832PBF or similar with Gate-to-Source Voltage 0-3V (if your STM32 power supply is 3.3V).

Which box are you using? It is Gainta?

Thanks for the reply, the box is this https://docs.rs-online.com/65d4/0900766b8168effe.pdf The dimensions are more or less those of the Gainta but instead of IP68 this is IP54 and I used 10mm spacers for mounting the PCB.

When I open it it doesn't seem to connect to the camera and it shows all the editors empty, it even shows "Not responding" when I try to access it from KStars. Any suggestion to what it may be due or any other information that I can give you? I am running it on Windows 7 64Bits.

Hi, sorry for my English speaking!

Congratulations on the camera designs, I was ready to build a CAM90 and ordered the PCB and components, but when they arrived I could hardly see the 0603 parts let alone solder them - unfortunately over my skill level so it remains incomplete.

CAM87 though I think I can do. I have been building a bill of materials for all the parts needed based on using Mouser, which is shared below and may be useful to people. A warning though, I have not yet built the camera to say the list is accurate, some capacitors are only 10V and may need changing to at least 16V.

I have added C36 to give the capacitor discussed recently by DD11 a name (mlago your "cheat sheet" is really useful!).

Only two questions which I don't think are critical and can be easily changed later if needed:

1) I couldn't see a value associated with C25, but based on the CXD1267 datasheet I have guessed at 104, 0805 hopefully that is right?

2) R1, R2, R20 have values of 3R0 on the schematic, but the photos on the google drive show 2R0. I know 2R0 should be used for R15/R21 if using 100uH instead of 220uH for L3/L4 but unclear on R1, R2 and R20. I am going to fit 3R0 for all of them along with 220uH L3/L4 but wondered why photos show 2R0?

Parts and PCB ordered and on their way along with a D50 off eBay for the sensor, so hopefully I will post a picture of a working camera soon enough.

C25 has a value of 105 / 1uF 0805 you can see it in the BOM.

My soldering experience has been statisfactory despite the size of the components, I have simply used a normal 30w soldering iron, flux and a small magnifying glass to help me with the smaller ICs. Well, also a good handful of patience.
